Welcome
I'm Brooklyn, a licensed therapist offering telehealth in California.
I specialize in supporting Black women and BIPOC adults who are navigating attachment wounds, identity exploration, emotional regulation, and the quiet weight of relational pain. Maybe you've been carrying a lot for a long time. Maybe you're tired of feeling disconnected from yourself, or stuck in patterns that don't quite make sense. Maybe you just want a space where you can breathe. Together, we'll explore not just what's happening, but why — and what it might feel like to move through the world more rooted in yourself.
My approach is relational and body-aware, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). I believe healing happens in the context of a safe, attuned relationship — and building that with you is something I take seriously.
I'd love to connect.
I’m also a Loveland Foundation–approved provider.
About me
I'm an Oakland native, a Taurus, and a therapist — which means I take the work seriously without taking myself too seriously.
I came to this work the long way. As a children's social worker in LA County, I spent years in the intimate spaces of Black and brown communities — sitting with families in some of their hardest moments and learning, over and over again, that people are not the sum of their impulses, their regretted decisions, or the ways they've learned to cope. We are the result of our communities, our histories, everything we've had to carry — and resist.
My own time in therapy taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way: that being truly seen and accepted by another person creates slow, real transformation. That's the kind of work I want to do.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually at a concert, cooking something, tending my balcony garden, or hunting for records. I take my dining experiences seriously.
